The Design Process
-
First step is we measure your existing house if you plan to remodel or If building new we start with your sketches and inspiration photos to get the look and feel you want to create. Then an "as built" floor plan and 3d model is created.
-
The second step is to meet with you on Zoom and we take your ideas and make changes to the model. This allows you to see your changes in a 3d virtual environment. This may take several revisions until you get exactly what you want. Alternately we can email images to you with the updates you request.
-
Once you are happy with the design we move to step three which is the creation of the construction documents. We do all the architectural pages of the set of plans and this will include all the pages required by your local building department. If engineering is required we have a list of engineers that we have relationships with.

Lake Design & Drafting
Christopher Brokaw has been in the construction industry for 40 years. He started out framing large custom homes in Texas. His experience gives him the knowledge of knowing how the bones of the building go together to be able to give the client a design that is both functional and customized to meet their design goals. 3D architectural software is used to help visualize design choices and can be updated until a desired design is achieved.
